Site of community importance that have been designated as a special area of conservation by member States, through a statutory, administrative and/or contractual act, pursuant to the fauna and flora habitats directive. In these sites, conservation measures are applied for the maintenance or restoration, at a favorable conservation status, of the natural habitats and/or the populations of the species for which the site is designated.
